Distinguishing features
The Buick trishied is rooted in the ancestral coat of arms of the automakers founded , David Denbar Buick . That crest was a red shield with a ceckered silver and azure diagonal line from the upper left to Lowe right. After that the cureved line was usually indicated either by a rub strip or simply a character line molded into the sheetmetal as hinted in the 2008 Invicta concept car and 2010 Lacrosse/Allure production car .It appears Buick may be preparing to abndon this styling for a new waterfall grille , as seen on the Buick V elite concept car from 2004 and the Buick Licerne introduced fot the 2006 model year . This water full grille bears some resemblace to grilles of Buicks from the 1980s such as the Grand National . It was reintroduced on the 2010 Buick La Crosse and 2010 Buick Enclave.
